What is your Affirmation Definition? We need to know the meaning of affirmations to understand WHY we might adopt this idea...
Merriam Webster defines AFFIRMATION, as:
They also define AFFIRM, as:
I like both of those definitions. You are making a positive assertion on what you believe. You will repeat your affirmation in a true, confident way, to show your strong belief in this new life concept.
WORKS for me! How about you?
By repeating your affirmation over and over, for many days, you are telling your subconscious this is something you truly believe in.
At some point, somewhere around 20 days for most people, the subconscious accepts this new belief and makes it part of you. No longer do you need to think it, it is you.
That's the beauty of affirmations! They become what you want yourself to think on a daily basis.
Psst! That's why I love these little affirmation cards... pick one and carry it with you! Read it at every opportunity... suddenly, your subconscious will pick up the message that THIS is important and I had better add it to my life knowledge. Magic Happens.

Choose any area you want to work on, print the affirmation or carry it on your phone. Every time you think of it, repeat it... verbatim if you are reading it, or as well as you can remember it. It doesn't have to be perfect, you are simply reinforcing the new belief in your subconscious mind... over and over again!
